Pharmacy Technician Program
This 300 hours program is designed to prepare the student to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Preparation includes classroom instruction, supervised laboratory training and an externship as per the syllabus from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Theory classes and laboratory sessions may be held in the classroom and externship hours may be at a coordinated externship site.

Externship: ArrangedFees: $2500 ($200 Non-Refundable Registration Plus $2300 Tuition)

Upon successful completion of the program the students may acquire skills and knowledge necessary to help a licensed pharmacists in dispensing prescription medication. Testing is conducted by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and/or Institute for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ICPT). Students successful complete the program may meet the training requirements of the California State Board of Pharmacy and may receive a California State License to practice as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
